How far is it from Plettenberg Bay to Cape Town?

Plettenberg Bay sits approximately 520 km from Cape Town along the N2, making it roughly a five-to-six-hour drive depending on traffic and stops. Many guests turn the journey into part of the holiday, pausing in Hermanus (whale watching), Knysna (oysters and the Heads), or the Franschhoek wine valley along the way. Alternatively, George Airport, approximately 100 km west of Plett, offers connecting flights from Cape Town and Johannesburg for those who prefer to fly.

Many travellers opt to spend two to three nights in each, as the short distance makes both easily achievable on a Garden Route itinerary.

Check-out is at 11:00. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm a reservation, with the balance due 60 days before arrival.
