Many of Plett’s guesthouses and self-catering units are in the residential streets above the beachfront or in the Piesang Valley area. These are pleasant, often quieter spots with lovely mountain or garden views. But the beach is something you have to plan for: pack a bag, load the car, find a spot, and reverse the whole process when you’re done.
