The Bungalow isn’t just on the beach, it’s also a part of it. There are 10 bespoke rooms to choose from, each kitted out with cotton linen, complimentary minibars, and an atmosphere that matches the tranquil heartbeat of Plett. We also have a crisp plunge pool, watersports, and beachfront living.

The Bungalow Restaurant & Bar sits right on the edge of Hobie Beach, where long lunches turn into sunset drinks and the sea is always in view. The menu is relaxed, seasonal, and rooted in fresh, local ingredients: seafood that tastes like it came straight from the water, uncomplicated flavours, and dishes made for sharing. Pair it with a chilled glass of wine, a classic cocktail, or a cold beer, and you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.
By day, it’s bright and breezy – a place to wander in straight from the beach. By night, it softens into something warmer: firepit glowing, waves rolling in, and conversations stretching long past sunset.
This isn’t fine dining with rules.
It’s good food, well made, in one of the best locations in Plettenberg Bay.
